Animus and Anima
‘My biggest fear is that society expects me to behave like a ‘real’ man and that I cannot be my true self. This scares me. I don’t want to live that way.’ Musa (20) lives together with his younger sister and his parents in a suburban settlement of Johannesburg. He is very soft spoken and some school peers ocassionaly tease him for behaving like a girl. Most days he spends in his room to draw or to play with some clothes. He is a fashion enthusiast and often takes photographs of himself posing in the nature.
